The high school guidance department's character trait of the month is courage. Students and staff are reminded to wear yellow on Wednesdays in December to represent courage and nominate their peers who have displayed courage. December is also national drunk and drugged driving prevention month; as is always the case, but especially this month, we encourage all to be safe and smart and seek an alternative mode of transportation if the person you are with is under the influence but still chooses to drive.
