On April 12th, PJHS students joined the Port Jervis Youth Coalition (PJYC) and "Chalked the Walk" during lunch periods in support of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids National "Take Down Tobacco" Day! They wrote anti-tobacco, smoking, and vaping messages along with messages encouraging healthier living. This annual event seeks to educate youth of the dangers of smoking and vaping and to highlight the ways the tobacco companies try to trick consumers.
