The Orange County Arts Council once again hosted its annual “The Arts Build Confidence Showcase” on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the Galleria at Crystal Run in Middletown. The OCAC collaborates with all of our schools to provide opportunities for students to come together and share their talents with the greater Orange County community. This event has become an annual celebration of the arts and featured an exhibit of Orange County High School student artwork, a digital display of middle school artwork, and performances by the high school theater groups.
The following students represented Port Jervis High School in the art show, submitting their work for display: Ariana Merchan-Espada, Koi Raymond, Joelisa Rivera, Abigail Russell, Julianna Vasquez, Ellis Startup, Meghan Lauture, Camille Feteau, Katrina, Kranik, and Gabrielle Polarski.
Additionally, Koi Raymond won first place for the high school division. Koi is a Senior this year and will be attending Purchase in the fall. Congratulations to all our artists!
