This past weekend Port Jervis Girl Wrestlers Charlie Wylie and Alyssa Reed competed in the prestigious Girls Eastern States Classic at Sullivan County Community College. Both wrestlers made it to the finals. Charlie Wylie won 1st place and Alyssa Reed brought home 2nd. Both of these ladies compete on the boys' Varsity wrestling team this season. We thank them for representing our team and our school and congratulate them on being pioneers for women’s wrestling, not only in Port Jervis but also in New York State.
