Hidden Mischief

Hidden Mischief is a simulated teen bedroom created by Prevention Educators from The Alcoholism & Drug Abuse Council of Orange County (ADAC). Parents/Caregivers will be given the opportunity to search the teen bedroom “scavenger hunt “style looking for items that may indicate their teen is using substances or participating in other self-harming behaviors. After all participants have had a chance to search the mock bedroom, Prevention Educators will reveal all items in the room, including those that may have been missed or overlooked but could indicate substance use. The program is intended for adults only, no students will be allowed (the district partners with ADAC to provide age-appropriate prevention education). This is a very informative and educational presentation, parents of children of all ages are encouraged to attend.
