On Thursday, March 25th, members of the high school's Port Jervis Youth Coalition (PJYC) and SADD hosted a Chalk The Walk during lunch periods for the national Take Down Tobacco Day. This is a national initiative trying to raise awareness about the dangers of smoking and vaping and about how the tobacco industry peddles a wide range of addictive and dangerous products that put kids at risk. https://www.takedowntobacco.org/about
Students wrote anti-tobacco and pro-health messages in the front of the school for all to see!
