Port Jervis High School had a "Take Your Child To Work Day"
April 27th, 2018 - Port Jervis High School, Port Jervis, NY - Port Jervis High School had a "Take Your Child To Work Day". It started with an assembly with singer Kendyle Paige. Then, the children of staff and faculty met in the library for a Scavenger Hunt. Ambassadors led them through the building and stations to answer clues and pick up some "prizes" along the way. At the pond: they got a bag of goldfish crackers, main office: pencil with Port logo, cafe: carton of milk, FACS: a homemade cookie, and at the library: Mrs. Perkowski had bookmarks for them. Later, they had lunch and classes with Mom or Dad. In the afternoon, the children had arts & crafts and a PE activity with Ms. Beirne. Special thanks to Ms. Jenkins for organizing this fun event.
