Check all the amazing activities Amia is involved in at school--and she was named Homecoming Queen!

Throughout her time at Port Jervis High School Amia has attained a variety of roles and put forth dedication to many clubs, commitments, and opportunities. Those include being a Student Ambassador, Student Board advisor, a member of the PJHS planning team, the Port Jervis Youth Coalition, the Equals Movement, Drama Club, Honor Choir, Chamber Choir, Women's Choir, the Varsity Club Executive Committee and also vice-president, Athletes Helping Athletes, DECA as a former treasurer and current co-president, the BEPT committee, the Interact Rotary club President, student voice association, GSA, SAAD, and several varsity sports; her favorite being Varsity Girls basketball. Amia also founded the PJHS Journey to Journalism newspaper club along with The PJHS Readers & Company book club, she is also the FOUNDER of the PJHS Radio Broadcast canvasser committee, and the FOUNDER of PJHS/Port Poet(s , also, in the works is the PJHS PRESS news casting association. Amia is a class officer, holding the role of secretary for the last four years. Throughout the years outside of school maintaining occupations at the Riverside Creamery and Port Jervis Brick oven pizza. She was also the Port Jervis High school homecoming queen. Amia Is a very loyal and determined student to the town of Port Jervis and sustains a lifestyle as a compelling, comprehensive, eloquent, elegant, and conversational student.
