For the past several years, Ms. Medina has arranged a pen pal exchange with an English teacher from a middle school in Spain. This year she will continue the project with Señora Patricia Martí from the English Department at Centro de Residencias de Cheste in Valencia (Cheste Student Housing Services). Each 8th grade student taking Spanish will be paired with one of her students in Spain and will write to each other for the first time next week.
What a great opportunity to broaden our students’ horizons and their linguistic abilities!
