The second of five scheduled PJMS Library Series with ADAC and Mrs. Hulse was held on 12/8 and 12/9, with Mrs. Roach being the hostess with the mostest! They had four 6th-grade classes over the two days and saw about 90 kids.
The classes were focusing on the positives and what students can do to be "naturally high." ADAC and Mrs. Hulse have a five-part program that they are implementing. This is the website they referenced.
The series ended with a fun activity. The students made winter-themed diamond art magnets, keychains, and ornaments. ADAC and Mrs. Hulse shared with the students that, like Paul in the video, creativity releases natural dopamine. The students took their creation home with them. The main thing ADAC and Mrs. Hulse noticed was that ALL students were completely engaged right from the video until it was time to go. They sat together, had conversations, and even complimented each other on their work.
