April 20, 2026 - John Faggione, Class of 1990

Congratulations to former PJHS Softball Coach & PJ Recreation Director John Faggione. Today, Monday, 4/20, John will be honored at 4:15 pm prior to the girls' softball game at Spangenberg/Rollman Field on the HS campus. PJ Athletics is naming the scoreboard after Coach Faggione and his 20 years of dedicated leadership to our team and PORT Schools.

John is a PJHS 1990 graduate and went to St. John's University, studying criminal justice. He has been the PJ Director of Recreation for 30 years!

He is the all-time leader in PJ Softball wins with 240. He was the 2011 Section Coach of the Year and 5x Section 9 Champion: '02, '06, '07, '11, '18--going 5-0 in section championship games.
