HBE: Kids Heart Challenge

HBE Students have been participating in the American Heart Association's Kids Heart Challenge. During the past few weeks, our students have been learning about physical and social-emotional health as part of the Kids Heart Challenge. They're also learning to take care of their heart and have participated in cardio-pumping challenges like our jump rope, Ninja Warrior Course, and Dance unit.

To reinforce the healthy messaging, we are asking all HBE students to go online and take a challenge: BE KIND, MOVE MORE, or CHOOSE Water.

Here is how YOU can help:

-Register for free at http://www2.heart.org/goto/HBE

-Take a heart-healthy challenge

Registering is free to do and students will earn a cool wristband.

If HBE gets 100 students to register, Mr. Foley and Mrs. Hartmann will get slimed. If we get half of the school to register, Mr. Foley and Mrs. Hartmann will get slimed and get a pie to the face.

HBE has just over 60 students registered so far. Keep up the great work. More than ever it's so important we encourage our students to be healthy. Please don't forget to register today and thank you for your support!
