The Kids Heart Challenge

The Kids Heart Challenge

We are proud to announce that Hamilton Bicentennial Elementary will be participating in The American Heart Association's Kids Heart Challenge this month. On Friday, February 7th we had our Kids Heart Challenge Kick off assembly. The Kids Heart Challenge prepares students for success by supporting their physical and emotional well-being. The money we raise will help the American Heart Association fund life saving research which will improve our community’s health. Plus, students will learn how to prevent heart disease and stroke, and our school will qualify for gift certificates for P.E. equipment based on the amount we raise. This year, we are ONLY ACCEPTING ONLINE DONATIONS. Online fundraising is a safe, easy way to reach out to family and friends to share what our school is doing! Students can collect donations online by visiting www.heart.org/KidsHeartChallenge and searching for “Hamilton Bicentennial Elementary School" and then clicking "Sign Up” or by DOWNLOADING THE FREE MOBILE APP! Search “Kids Heart Challenge” in your phone’s app store. Students will be participating in a HBE Ninja Warrior Course and Jump Rope activities in Physical Education class from February 10th-21st . Donations are Due: March 6th If we reach our $2,000 goal, Mrs. Hartmann and Mr. Foley (Physical Education teachers) will get slimed and everyone in the school will receive a wristband. If we reach our $3,000 goal, Mr. Kahmar and Mr. Marr (Principals) will get slimed and everyone in the school will receive a keychain.
