Every year, our fifth-grade peer leaders help organize, pack, and distribute food to families in need. This week, these peer leaders taught some of the fourth graders about the process. These students will then take over this process next year. Great job modeling Port Pride leadership and helping the greater community! Go Port!
(Students going into 5th grade, Peer Leadership will be discussed, and forms will be available at the beginning of next year. There are a variety of different roles students can sign up for to be a Peer Leader, including food packing, classroom helper in the younger grades, and more.)
