On Saturday, May 2nd at Wallkill Valley High School, 15 Middle School students and 15 HBE students were awarded the NYS AHPERD Catskill Zone Physical Education Leadership award. All schools in the Catskill Zone of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance in Orange, Ulster, and Sullivan Counties were invited to select honorees at the elementary, middle, and junior high school levels.
The award is given for outstanding leadership and excellence in Physical Education. These students have demonstrated excellent performance in the areas of fitness, citizenship, and leadership.
