#supPORTtheArts
Meet our next round of artists from Port Schools, students at HBE, along with their teacher, Chris Kilgore.
Easton Dennis (Kindness Superhero) is a 1st grader and was inspired to make something cool. Creating art means being happy and having peace. He wanted to give a shout out to his Mom and Craig, and is looking forward to drawing houses, nature, animals, and mountains.
Michael Kingston (Self Portrait) is a 5th grader and was inspired to show the different shapes in his life, along with his favorite sweatshirt, in the drawing. Creating art calms him, and he finds it peaceful. He'd like to shout out his Mom and his friends Mason and Townes. He'd like to learn splatter art.
Naomi Perez (Haunted House) is a 4th grader and was inspired to make something haunted and old. She loves creating art and wanted to thank her Mom for inspiring her and always encouraging her. She would like to become an art teacher one day.
Thank you to all our creative artists and their teachers. If you know of a local business that would like to display some Port artwork in their shop/store/restaurant, please contact us at amarotta@pjschools.org #GoPORT! #PortPride
