HBE just held their annual Field Days! On Friday, June 20th, students competed in Team Field Day stations with their class. Activities included tug of war, spoon egg relay, and much more. Fifth-grade classes competed for trophies, and Mrs. Grabiec/Rascona's 5th-grade class won. This Field Day concluded with HBE's annual egg toss. Every staff member selected a student to compete with. This year's winners were Mrs. Sarbello & Sophia Roussos.
On Monday, June 23rd, students had Individual Field Day activities. Individual games included a 40-yard dash, 3 legged race, and much more. Fifth-grade students competed for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place wristbands.
Thank you to HBE's PTA for getting every student in the school a water bottle and for providing the eggs for our annual egg toss. We also would like to thank the Port Jervis and Deer Park Police Departments and the Middle School/High School Student Athletes for all of their help running stations.
