HBE: Leadership Day

On Thursday, June 6th, HBE hosted their annual Leadership Day. This event connects the community with the classes at HBE. Guests are invited to speak to one, or multiple, classes about their chosen career and the steps it took to become successful in their field. Guests this year include Major League baseball hopeful Rob Semerano, who spoke to 4th - 6th graders about his journey from the halls of Sullivan Avenue Elementary to graduating from Port Jervis High School and his baseball career to this point. The Orange County K9s also gave an engaging presentation with their dog partners, demonstrating their search techniques and handling training. HBE would like to thank all of the guests as well as the PJHS volunteers who came to assist with special area classes. It was an amazing experience for all of the students.
