5th & 6th graders who were interested in becoming peer leaders filled out an application back in September that shared the reasons they felt they would be a positive role model for our younger students and had a parent or guardian sign it. They were matched with teachers and staff and have made the commitment to spend at least one recess (sometimes more) volunteering their time in a classroom and other areas of our school. All of the teachers and staff members who host a peer leader rave about the student’s ability to be a positive role model for our students!
