HBE: PJHS Baseball and Softball Visitors

The Kindergarten, First, and Second grade students at HBE were so excited to welcome PJHS baseball and softball players as guest readers into their classes! The students listened to the players read a chapter from our Reading Together book, The Kid Who Only Hit Homers, then held a question and answer session with the athletes. The athletes were then able to join a PE class where they challenged some HBE third graders to the interactive Lu. A great time was had by all! Special Thank You to Mr. Hartmann for organizing and chaperoning the athletes and to the following athletes: Robert Culleny, Justin Grusz, David Miglionico, Ellis Startup, Kevin Mesnick Jr., Logan Morris, Penny Jones, Racheal Duryea, and Molly Koenig. You are all wonderful role models and athletes!
