HBE: Animal/Figure Math

Fifth graders at HBE have been studying volume and finding the volume of multiple rectangular prisms in math. Students worked in groups to plan out and create an animal/figure out of cardboard boxes and then find the volume of each rectangular prism, and finally find the total volume of the entire figure. The students then presented their projects at a gallery walk for the school.
