HBE Odyssey Of The Mind Teams
March 10th, 2018 - Port Jervis, NY - Both HBE Port Jervis Odyssey of the Mind teams took 2nd place at the 2018 regional tournament at Orange-Ulster BOCES in Goshen held on March 10! An international program that promotes creative problem solving, Odyssey of the Mind challenges students in grades 1 to 12 to compete in long-term problem solving and spontaneous on-the-spot brainstorming. This year, the regional competition included teams from school districts in Orange, Ulster, Sullivan and Dutchess counties. All of the Port Jervis students worked diligently for months to create a solution to their team's challenging problem. The Middle School team also won second place. Congratulations to all of the teams and their coaches!
