This mandated senior level course involves students with their American Government. Instruction is in a participatory style. Course content includes the types of government, roots of american democracy, and rights and responsibilities of citizenship. The development of the Constitution, the structure of government and analysis of global, federal, state, and local public policy are also covered. Decision making skills are emphasized. Projects engaging students with their government and the public policy process are required.
