Port Jervis administrators attribute the district’s steady
improvements to the hard work and dedication of all district
employees – past and present. To show their appreciation, they
invited all retired employees to join current teachers and staff
Sept. 1 at the annual opening day breakfast.
“We have had many successes in the past few years. These
accomplishments couldn’t have been achieved without a solid
foundation that was created through the hard work of those who
came before us,” said Assistant Superintendent for Instruction
John Bell.
“Our retirees are a special part of the district’s family and we
are honored to have many of them in attendance today. We plan on
making this an annual tradition and hope to have 100 retirees
attend the opening day breakfast in September 2010,” noted Bell.
