June 12, 2009 - This was no ordinary day at Hamilton Bicentennial Elementary School. Much to the surprise of the school's beloved principal, who is retiring after 20 years of dedicated service, the students and staff declared the second Friday in June to be "Sharon Dickstein Day."

The highlight of the special day was a festive school-wide assembly where Mrs. Dickstein was presented with a crown, corsage, and "the key to the school." Mrs. Dickstein and her guest of honor, her husband Alan, were entertained by the entire study body - one grade level at a time.
