First day of school

Port Jervis students off to a good start...

There's something special about the first day of a school year. Welcoming smiles. Warm hugs. Festive bulletin boards and stimulating learning environments.
On Sept. 5, Port Jervis schools welcomed back more than 2,800 students. The day was marked with excitement as students - particularly those in the elementary schools - checked out their new classrooms, found their cubbies, and got reacquainted with friends.
