Middle School represents Port in NY Recycles!

 

New York Recycles! and so does Port Jervis Middle School students in Megan Wieboldt’s Science class. Last spring, Joey Williams, Ryan Cheshire, Travis Benson, Jacob Miley, Arik Roberts, Matt Sexton, and Jonathon Maillet were selected to represent the Middle School in the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) New York Recycles! Poster Contest. Out of the 800 posters entered from around the state, eighth grader Joey Williams took third place in the 7-9 grade category. His poster will be used in the DEC 2007 New York Recycles! Calendar.
