input for budget
The lengthy process of developing the budget for the 2009-2010
school year is now underway.
An important date on the
budget development calendar
is the Community Budget Workshop. A Community Budget Workshop
was held Feb. 26 in the High
School cafeteria to provide tax payers with an
opportunity to get involved in the budget process. Additionally,
special
e-mail
address
has been established to provide taxpayers with the means to
voice their questions, comments, and other feedback about the
2009-10 budget proposal.
The School Board is scheduled to adopt
a proposed budget at its April 23 meeting.
A series of informational budget presentations will then be held
throughout the community to provide taxpayers with detailed
information about the proposed budget prior
the
May 7 Budget Hearing.
