Capital Project
Work is continuing
this summer on the second - and
final - phase of the Port Jervis School District’s
$14.6 million capital construction project. Due to the extensive
nature of roof repairs, asbestos abatement, and electrical work,
Port Jervis Middle School, High School and sections of Anna S.
Kuhl Elementary School are temporarily closed for the summer.
All schools will open
Sept. 3 - ready to welcome students back for the first day of
school. If you need to meet with school staff over the
summer, please call in advance for an appointment. Some offices
will be temporarily relocated to sections of the construction
sites that are not open to the public. Summer office hours are
7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Board of Education meetings moved
While Port Jervis High
School is closed for renovations, the July Board
of Education meetings will be held at the following alternate
locations:
July 1 - Deerpark Town Hall at
7 p.m. Public Hearing on Code of Conduct will be held prior to
the meeting. It is scheduled for 6:50 p.m.
July 22 - Port Jervis City
Hall at 7:30 p.m., immediately following a 6:30 a.m. executive
session.
The meetings will be televised on Tri-State Ch. 23.
Due to a scheduling conflict, the broadcast will begin at 8 p.m.
The broadcasts will be aired on cable Ch. 20 at a later date.

Student Registration Office
Relocated to the High School Modular #2.

Port Jervis High School
Entire building closed June 28 - July 7. Sections of school will
reopen later in the summer to district staff only.
Main offices: Relocated to
modulars June 28 - July 7. During later phases of construction,
the staff will be relocated to facilities in the high school
that are not open to the public. Appointments can be made to
meet staff at the modulars by calling 858-3100.
Guidance Office: Counselors

Senior Portraits: Aug. 4-5
from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in modulars
Board of Education Meetings: July and August meetings will be
