Modular units
add needed classroom space at Port Jervis High School
Port Jervis High School
has four
new classrooms. Two prefabricated modular units
were installed at the south side of the High School in the fall
of 2007. Funding for the additional classrooms was provided in part
by the $14.6 million Capital Project approved by
voters in December 2006.

Contractors broke ground Oct. 1,
2007 for the two modular units. Over the course
of several weeks, workers poured the footings and
then installed the two prefabricated units in the
area adjacent to the south side of the school.
