Late Bus Service
The following procedure is in place for
Middle School Students requiring the late bus:
The school district offers a late bus run
for High School and Middle School students who participate in
eligible after-school activities. Students who want to ride the
late bus must receive permission in advance from a building
administrator.
Students are picked up
at the Middle School by 3:30 p.m. and transported to the High
School. At the High School there are four late buses, each
serving a different area of the school district. Late buses
depart the High School at approximately 3:55 p.m. Student drop
off times may vary depending upon the number of students riding
the late bus and the territory that needs to be covered. The
late buses do not make all regularly assigned stops, they are
generalized.
The run numbers and the areas served
are as follows:
LB-1: East Main Street, West End, The Acre,
Tri-States, and Neversink Drive
LB-2: Sparrowbush, Peenpack Trail, Big Pond Road,
and Prospect Hill Road
LB-3: Route 209 North, Deerpark Manor, Thomas
Road, Pine Grove Trailer Park,
and Pine Kill
Road
LB-4: Meyers Grove, Galley Hill Road, Route
211, and Oakland Valley Road
IF STUDENTS ARE NOT SURE WHICH BUS TO
TAKE, THEY SHOULD SPEAK TO THE LATE BUS DRIVERS. THANK YOU.
