Senior
girls win 2007 Powder Puff flag football trophy
After a hard
fought game against members of the junior class, the senior
girls won the Nov. 16 Powder Puff game, 14-12.
Throughout the annual flag
football game, the high score went back and forth between the
two teams. At half time, the juniors were leading. But, the
seniors came back, pulling it out to win the coveted trophy by
two points.
The money raised from the annual
flag football game will be used to provide funds to operate and
expand the Port Jervis High School Store and to help fund a
scholarship.
Thank you to Jane Dehayza and
Bonnie Heal, who were at the senior and junior girls' practices
to make sure everyone was safe!!
